Virtual Reality Therapy refers to the computer-generated simulation of immersive, interactive environments that can induce a high experiential realness for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
The aim of the research group „Virtual Reality Therapy and Medical Technology“ is the development and further advancement as well as multimodal investigation of such VR-based diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for mental disorders.
In addition, the research group deals with various questions of medical technology, such as the development of digital health applications for ADHD and panic disorder & agoraphobia.
